Over 30 years ago, Fred and Susan Massey began to bring their children Mark and Owen up to Round Top to visit the family farm. Fred fell in love with the area, and he and his family have been an integral part of the community ever since.

Fast forward to 2015: Seeing a need for more locations to host Round Top's world renown antique show, Fred's eldest son Mark built and opened The Compound. This location has served host to myriad events over the years, the newest being the Round Top Warbird Thunder Expo.

With the shut down of the Toledo Ohio expo, Fred saw a community with a need for a venue and a town that would benefit from additional tourism.

Fred's hope is that Round Top will become the new, annual Warbird Expo location. Additionally, the net proceeds from the show will be donated to the local volunteer fire department and a scholarship to one lucky student looking to have a career in aviation.

From all of us involved, thank you for your support and we hope we brought a little bit of family fun to your world.
